NBA’s TOP 10 GREATEST

On Thursday, April 21st, the final results of the fan-based voting were unveiled during a one-hour History Channel special entitled “NBA’s Top 10 Greatest.” The History Channel special was hosted by television commentator and NBA Legend Bill Walton and featured commentary and debate from NBA Legends George Gervin, Dave Cowens, Walt “Clyde” Frazier and senior writer for ESPN, Ric Bucher.

Using NBA game highlights and interviews with players and experts, The History Channel presented 10 categories and the four most likely candidates for each as host Bill Walton and the panel offered their choices prior to revealing the results of the fan-based voting for each category.

I am going to show you the first two greatests which are voted the most:
Greatest Finals Moment
1. Michael Jordan's last-second steal and shot against the Utah Jazz from the 1998 NBA Finals, which gave the Chicago Bulls their third championship in a row. Michael Jordan's last second steal and shot against the Utah Jazz from the 1998 NBA Finals seals the second three-peat championship for the Bulls and provides a fitting end to a storied career. Jordan finished the game with 45 points, his sixth title and his sixth NBA Finals MVP award.

2. Michael Jordan’s 38-point performance with a 103 degree fever, which helped give the Chicago Bulls a 3-2 lead in the 1997 NBA Finals. With a 103-degree temperature and flu-like symptoms, Michael Jordan plays one of his greatest games. Greatest Slam Dunk
1. Vince Carter winning the 2000 Slam Dunk title. He went through his legs, hung from his elbow and put it down with two hands from the free-throw line. Simply put, there was nothing that Vince Carter didn't do en route to the 2000 dunking title.
2. Michael Jordan’s famous dunk from the free throw line in 1988. Lifted by his hometown fans, Michael capped an amazing performance by throwing down from the free-throw line.
